Planning Appeals

 

 

Peter is fully involved in the appeal process from the preparation and submission of appeal documentation to appearing at public inquiries as expert witness.  He is one of the country's most experienced expert witnesses having given evidence in the High Court and the Lands Tribunal and before the Transport Commissioner as well as at over 100 inquiries and hearings.

 

He also appears at local plan examinations on behalf of both landowners and objectors, giving evidence on the soundness or otherwise of policies and proposals.  He has successfully achieved many changes to emerging plans.

Peter has advised many clients on appeal procedures, including participating as a third party in order to effectively and successfully promote the case.

He also contributes to training courses on expert witness skills and procedures so that other planners can benefit from his experience.
